Support the Soupman is a local nonprofit very near and dear to the hearts of many TAC employees. After one meeting with Peter, aka The Soupman, it was hard not to be incredibly touched by his story.
After losing his son, Peter set out to make a difference in the community. And he’s done just that. He started serving soup to the homeless out of a pickup truck and has gathered so much support he was able to purchase a portable shower unit.
Every Saturday Peter sets out with his crew to deliver lunches to the local homeless population. It was an honor for us to sponsor a Saturday lunch as part of our Summer of Service program.
Based on the guidelines provided by the Soupman, we shopped for and prepared 96 bagged lunches to be handed out this weekend. Visit their webpage to learn more and see what you can donate toward The Soupman’s lunch program!
